What does an Apprenticeship involve?
An apprenticeship is a learning programme which is a mixture of ‘on the job’
learning and achievement of a recognised vocational qualification by
studying at college.

How does it work?
Most apprentices are employed and paid a salary or wage
which reflects their age, ability, skills and experience. They will be
based with an employer for approximately 4 days per week and
will generally attend college for 1 day per week (although this
can be flexible depending on the programme studied and the
employer’s requirements.
How long does it take to complete the L2 Business and
Administration apprenticeship?
Normally it takes 9 – 12 months.
Am I eligible for an Apprenticeship in Business and Administration?
You must be aged 16 – 24.
You will normally have achieved a good basic range of GCSEs
(A – D grades) when you join the programme, although commitment
and aptitude are also taken into consideration.
